A new form found in the Garden of our own production nursery. Bright young foliage and soft pink flowers all summer.

A new wonderful introduction to us. This very striking plant has a board central near white band on each leaf. Will grow to 1.8m if in the right position but best if grown in a large container and will reach about 1.2m. Will perform well along the south coast and warmer regions of the country, needs a well drained soil and sunny site, best if given some winter protection.

This evergreen plant can be grown as a large bush or tree and will do well in a large container for a few years befor planting out.
Camphor oil is used in antiseptics and in pain-relieving creams, gels and lotions. Along with menthol, it is the active ingredient in aromatic analgesic ointments for nasal decongestion and muscular aches and pains.

A bushy evergreen perennial with purple stems and gray-green leaves edged with white. Bears flowers with white bracts with a lime green stripe, in early summer. Max Height 60cm. Max Spread 80cm.
Plant in any well drained soil. full sun or part shade. Frost hardy.
